First, with the Windtex Check 310 fabric the APEX Elite™ thermal jacket delivers revolutionary true wind and water proof performance while not sacrificing the critical breath-ability needed to achieve the highest performance in athletic environments.  Conventional wind and water proof fabrics have a major drawback.  They tend to lack good breath-ability and the result is these fabrics protect you from wind and water, but lock in your body’s heat and sweat.  You can compare the effect to wearing a sweat suit or creating your own personal green house around your body!  It’s not pretty and it’s not comfortable.  But the Check 310 nano membrane technology prevents this by blocking wind and water on the outside, but still allowing moisture and air to escape.  This keeps you dryer and more comfortable.
